Depending on the brand and system you choose, there are warranties for the collectors (on the roof) of up to 15 years and up to 10 years for the solar hot water tank.

Flat Plate Panel Solar Hot Water System

A flat plate panel solar hot water system consist of collector panels on the roof connected to a ground mounted water storage tank, with a control unit that circulates water between the collectors and the tank.
